Jianing “Jed” Yang is a Master’s student in Machine Learning at Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests lie in multimodal NLP, dataset bias analysis, and machine learning. In particular, he is interested in developing robust algorithms and evaluation frameworks to understand human communication grounded to multimodal context. Before joining CMU, he received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and was doing research on machine learning for healthcare. He has also worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services, intern and full-time.
